Terms of Service

📌 Plain language summary: GyandootAI is an AI tool that generates practice question papers to help teachers save time. These papers are not official board papers and may contain errors — always review before use. We are not affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, or any government body. We collect only your name and email to deliver your paper. We do not sell your data. You can request deletion anytime.

⚠️ AI Disclosure — IT Rules 2026: Every paper generated by GyandootAI includes a professional footer: "Prepared using GyandootAI Educational Assistant | Authorised by: [Teacher Name] | For internal assessment use only." This satisfies our disclosure obligation under India's IT Rules 2026. Teachers review, authorise, and take professional responsibility for all distributed papers — consistent with professional AI-assisted work in any field.

1. Who We Are

GyandootAI is operated by GyandootAI Private Limited (company incorporation in progress), India. We provide AI-powered question paper generation assistance for teachers and educators at gyandootai.com.

By using our website, you confirm you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, please do not use our service.

2. What GyandootAI Is — and Is Not

GyandootAI generates original, freshly-created AI practice papers based on your inputs. These are not reproductions of any board's past papers.

3. Teacher's Responsibility

By using a generated paper, you (the teacher) confirm that:

4. Copyright — Who Owns What

Board papers: CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards hold copyright over official past papers. GyandootAI does not reproduce or distribute any official board paper. We generate original content.

AI-generated papers: Under Indian copyright law (Delhi High Court rulings), copyright requires human authorship. The teacher who provides creative inputs (subject, topic, requirements) may hold stronger claim to the generated paper. We do not assert exclusive copyright over papers generated for you. Teachers are free to use, edit, and distribute papers for their educational work.

GyandootAI platform: Our brand, technology, website, and system are our intellectual property. You may not copy, replicate, or build competing services from our platform.

NCERT/Board content: We generate original questions on curriculum topics. Reference to topic names constitutes fair dealing for educational purposes under Section 52, Copyright Act 1957.

5. Consumer Protection Standards

Under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and e-commerce rules, GyandootAI operates as an e-commerce service provider. We are committed to fair, honest dealings:

6. Refund Policy

7. Plans and Billing

8. Data Protection — DPDPA 2023 Compliance

GyandootAI complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and DPDP Rules 2025 (notified November 2025, phased implementation to May 2027).

9. AI Disclosure — Professional Use Framework

GyandootAI complies with India's IT Amendment Rules 2026 while respecting the professional dignity of teachers. Here is how:

What we do: Every Google Doc we generate includes a small footer visible to the teacher:

"Prepared using GyandootAI Educational Assistant · Authorised by: [Teacher Name] · [Subject] · [Class] · [Board] · For internal assessment use · gyandootai.com"

This satisfies our disclosure obligation. The footer frames the teacher as the authorising professional — not a passive button-presser — because the teacher reviews, edits, and takes professional responsibility for every paper they use.

The professional practice principle: GyandootAI is a professional drafting tool. Just as lawyers use AI to draft contracts and then sign them as their professional work, or architects use CAD software and then stamp drawings as their professional output — teachers use GyandootAI as an assistive tool and take professional responsibility for the resulting paper. The teacher's professional judgment, review, and authorisation is what makes the paper theirs.

One absolute limit — regardless of anything else: Teachers must never represent a GyandootAI paper as an official paper issued by CBSE, ICSE, or any State Board or government authority. That is the line that must not be crossed — and it is about accuracy, not about AI disclosure.
